SOURCE: Blackberry 8310 Bluetooth device no services

I just experieiced this for the second time on my 8320 using a plantronics 510 bluetooth. The solution was to take the battery adn SIM card out of the phoine and leave it out for a full minute. It appears that the phone needs to be rebooted once in a while. I suspect Bill Gates designed some of the internal code.

SOURCE: Bluetooth

Your bluetooth needs to be in pairing mode. Depending on what model bluetooth there are several methods to put it in pairing mode. the most common is pushing and holding the main button until a light changes color.

SOURCE: Blackberry 8310 will not sink with computer. plug

Try a different usb port even another computer to see if its your phone or the computer. if you have no luck you can try the jl commander option to wipe your phone and then try to reconnect it but this will lose any un backed up data. Also look in the usb port and see if any of the prongs look bent pushed out of place or missing. if this is the case the phones only chance to connect is via bluetooth

If desktop manager will not recognize your phone then download JL commander (google search it) and select the wipe option then try again.

SOURCE: Remote funtions on LG HBS200 do not work with Blackberry Tour

When you go into the Tour's Bluetooth options, you can view which services are available for each paired device. Check the headset's properties and make sure all of the available services have a check mark next to them.

If that doesn't solve the problem, let me know and we'll try to find another solution.

My bb 8310 AT&T device won't pair with a headset or with my ford fusion

Make sure you have the correct password for your phone. Also look in your fusion manual as to the correct steps needed.

  • Press the Power Button. // This is on a 2010 Ford Fusion.
  • Then you hit the Phone Button.
  • It should say “No Phone Paired” that means that no phone has been paired with this.
You now have a choice of options:
  1. Add Bluetooth device
  2. Connect Bluetooth device
  3. Set Primary Phone
  4. Set Bluetooth On/Off
  5. Delete Device
  6. Delete all Devices
You want to choose Add Bluetooth Device, press OK
  • Then on your mobile, turn your Bluetooth On.
  • Setup Bluetooth – Search
  • Now it’s searching for it, when that gets full, Click Sync.
  • Then you’ll want to enter the PIN number that’s on the screen.
  • Say YES to connect to Sync.
  • Now screen on dash will say your mobile phone

When trying to connect my mobile via bluetooth to my car phone it says sim rejected why ?

We suggest you to reinsert the sim once again and check for the same. And try to perform the following steps: Apply the Bluetooth Pairing Helper application to your BlackBerry smartphone. Download the Bluetooth Pairing Helper application file using your BlackBerry smartphone browser Note: The Bluetooth Pairing Helper is available for BlackBerry smartphones running BlackBerry Device Software 4.2 and later. Complete the following steps for the Bluetooth Pairing Helper software. The following steps use the Land Rover as an example. Place the vehicle into pairing mode. For instructions, see the vehicle user manual. Start the Bluetooth Pairing Helper application. See links above. The following message appears on the BlackBerry smartphone: Please initiate the pairing process on your car. Click ?Done? when pairing is complete On the vehicle, press the Dial button. The following message appears on the Land Rover, and the progress bar on the Bluetooth Pairing Helper Application begins to advance: Searching The Land Rover display lists the name of the BlackBerry smartphone (and any other Bluetooth devices found within range). This may take one or two minutes. On the vehicle display, use the dial to highlight and then select the BlackBerry smartphone. The vehicle displays a random personal identification number (PIN) to pair. When the BlackBerry smartphone prompts for a PIN, type the PIN shown on the vehicle display in step 8 and press Enter. The BlackBerry smartphone displays Pairing complete. Connect to and press Yes. Pairing completes and an Connection to vehicle succeeded should appear on the BlackBerry smartphone. If the Bluetooth Pairing Helper application does not close, click Done to close the application. If you find the same error as sim rejected even after performing the steps, you need to check with the service provider relavent to the sim problem.
