Yes, according to the Lexmark website, your printer model is compatible with Windows Vista and even Windows 7. I would suggest that you uninstall the drivers for the printe/scanner and download the new drivers from their support website, then re-install the printer/scanner using those drivers. You can find them here:
Not compatible or not working well with windows 7?
(making a program work with windows 7)
Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver/application you installed is
for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like
you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from
other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before
installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use
"troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program
installer/application first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". This will
allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run.
Just reply back if it still doesn't work.:D rate and vote for me:))
Hi Isisas. You should try downloading and installing the Vista-compatible driver for the 600NC web camera. You can get to it by clicking here. Scroll down to the sixth item on the page to find the driver you need.
when you boot up ,look on the monitor for what key you need to press to go into system recovery, sometimes its F11,if you miss it this time just reboot and try again.
then press it and follow the instructions ,this time you will need to do a full recovery ,in other words everything on the pc will be wiped off (formated) and all the programs that came with the pc originally will be re installed including a fresh windows.
anything you added after you purchased it will need re installing by yourself.
This scanner was designed for 95/8/ME - operating systems The processor in the scanner is driven by DOS commands from the computer. Your computer is XP which is NTFS system. When the changer overcame Mustek and other posted cludges that were supposed to convert DOS to NTFS - none worked. You have one last chance. Go to My computer /programs/accessories/Program Compatibility Wizard- and rest the system to run as Win 98 for the Mustek software. If that does not work - New scanner.
