Where can i find the wireless communication switch on my Toshiba MSAT10EAIV04? Please help. thank you

    ok you can connect the wireless at the PCI Board to RG 48 port.

After installing then uninstalling zonealarm, I can only get internet through ethernet, not wireless. I keep getting a message that says
At this point I recommend doing a system restore, this will bring the computer back to an earlier time and in most cases solves the problem.

It will not connect to wireless, it keeps saying turn on wireless communication switch yet there is no switch on the computer. I have been without a computer for almost a week, please help!

There's two switch to turn the wireless capability of this laptop:

1. You need to turn ON the physical wireless switch located at the top of the keyboard (see image below)

2 If that doesn't turn the Wireless ON, you need to press the Fn+F8 key (the Fn key is located on the left side of the space bar).

How to switch on my wifi
1. There is a wireless on/off switch on the righthand side of the laptop between microphone jack and USB port. Slide this switch to the right to turn it on and to the left to turn it off. Check the Wireless communication indicator on the front side. It will start glowing orange when the wireless communication is enabled.
2. Also, Fn+F8 Key turn on/ off the wireless communication.

Next, click on the Toshiba Hardware icon; the next window will open with the Toshiba (HWSetup), check the "Wireless Communication Switch," to make sure its (ON). Fn+F8 key dose not work
Go To Contol Panel >> Classic View >> Toshiba HW Setup >> LAN tab >> Wireless communication Switch >> ON!! ( turn it off and on again)
** If on try >> Wake up on LAN >> ON!!

That worked for me :)

Make sure you have the latest drivers, router and NB.

Does it connect on reboot with the SSID off?

Does it work on repair?

if so, check your energy settings, some times they power down the wireless to save energy. There are also settings on how it behaves.
