To adjust the startup volume on a Bush DAB NE 3125 radio, you can follow these steps:
Turn on the Radio: Switch on the radio by pressing the power button or any other designated button.
Locate the Settings Menu: Look for a "Settings," "Menu," or similar button on the radio. It is usually represented by an icon or labeled accordingly. Press the button to access the settings menu.
Navigate to Volume Settings: Within the settings menu, navigate to the volume settings options. The exact location and naming of this option may vary, so refer to the user manual if needed.
Adjust Startup Volume: Once you've located the volume settings, you should find an option to adjust the startup volume. Use the volume control buttons or a designated adjustment knob to increase or decrease the startup volume level to your preference. Some radios may use a numerical scale or percentage system to represent the volume levels.
Save and Exit: After adjusting the startup volume, save the changes by following the instructions on the screen or pressing a designated button such as "OK" or "Save." Exit the settings menu to return to normal operation.
Note: If you're unable to locate the volume settings within the menu or the settings menu does not provide an option to adjust the startup volume, refer to the user manual specific to your Bush DAB NE 3125 radio. The manual should provide detailed instructions on how to adjust various settings, including the startup volume.
If you don't have the user manual, you can try visiting the Bush official website or contacting their customer support for assistance in obtaining a digital copy of the manual or for further guidance on adjusting the startup volume.

You need to disable Call Alert in your Voice Command settings...go into menu - settings - more - application settings - voice command. The last option on the list will be Call Alert, change to ring only.
Go to messaging thru your main menu. Thru messaging scroll to bottom to settings. next go to text auto view click this. If it looks like i believe most menus are it should say on / on plus readout and off. just choose off.
Install Batteries. Press Set, and you may need to look at the LCD at an angle, but you should see the year. Use Up/Down buttons to chg to 2009, press Set again. Press Select again and you'll see mo/date/time at very top of LCD...First digit will be flashing - use Up/Down to adjust, press Set. Press Delete to exit. To set Caller Announce - press Set, press Up until you see Set 8 Speech (screen is verry bad - I had to keep looking at it from an angle). Screen should show default setting of ON - use Up/Down to select On/Off - press set to confirm your slection.
The ringer volume is in the back, near the line plug-ins. Use the first plug-in for your phn line, the other for accessories (ans mach, fax, etc).
To set Ringtone, press Flash to select the music or ringtone you want. There are 16 choices. THIS IS WHERE I'M HAVING A PROBLEM: HOW THE HECK DO YOU SAVE YOUR SELECTION? MY PHONE WON'T RING! Caller announce works, but it is poor voice quality and volume. I think I've tried everything! I called the Cust Serv # given at this site 800-374-2744, and they say they can't help - that product has been discontinued and they can't even give a manufacturer name! If anyone figures how to make this phone ring, please post! As this person said, no returns/exchangs at Goody's after today.
Unplug the TV for 4 hours or more. This is called a 'Hard Reset'. Then plug it back in, turn it on and let the TV do it's thing. It will set itself up. Just follow the TV setup prompts. Guide Plus is a feature on the TV. Much like a TV guide showing all channels, shows, description of shows, times, etc..
