Projection TV sets have two very common problems listed below.
Problem #1) Convergence
These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the
picture to look normal. This is called convergence.
When its out of alignment the video will look
3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the
time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired. Convergence problems are very common on all Projection
TV sets including
Sony,
Samsung,
JVC,Philip
Magnavox,
Panasonic,
Akai,
Pioneer,
Hitachi,
Mitsubishi,
Zenith and others.

When using digital tuner with antenna there is green screen when "no signal" and when signal present picture is excessively green.
Picture is OK when using input from analog tuner or external DVD/VCR, etc.
Audio is OK.
RCA help says it's the antenna input.
I adjusted antenna, checked connections, rebooted TV.
This problem only occurs when video is from digital tuner.
I have not checked antenna matching transformer but that would also affect analog tuner wouldn't it?
My son's tv does the same thing. When I turn it on it is green with lines across the screen. Sound seems fine. After a few seconds, the tv turns itself off. I cannot access menu or change the channel or AV.
