How many RMS does the quantum 4500 watts peak 1 Chanel 1ohm amplifier have

Generally a peek rating is twice the RMS sometimes it's twice the RMS + 10% they do this to make a sale seem a lot better like you're getting a really good deal, that being said the RMS at 1 ohm is 2250 unfortunately this is not a cea certified product so more realistically it's probably closer to 15 to 1800 watts

Anyone know what the rms is per channel on xr-3693 1000w amp? Is it 250 apiece? And if i bridge sub..will that make it at 500rms?

I would assume this is 1000W peak-to-peak, so divide by 2.83 = 350 rms, or 88W rms per channel.

See link for bridging information:

I have 2 12 inch kicker rt dual 2 ohm subs. On a kicker cx1200.1 i want to kno how to hook it up to 2ohm to the amp. And if i can add another 10 inch kicker rt 2ohm sub in the future.

Do to the impedance Of your sub u can't run it @2ohms its going to either be @1ohm or 4ohms and your amp isn't 1ohm stable and u will risk damaging your amp. So your only option is to run it @4ohms and on a good note your sub is 100-600 watts RMS and your amp will push 400-500 watts RMS @4ohms. Now if you want to run 2 sub's in the future That amp will work perfect because it pushes 1,200watts RMS @2ohms and to wire your 2 sub's @1ohm just follow the steps in the image below. Hope this helped.25345194-v0hbouy2nvquqteoroa5j5rq-3-0.png

Im looking at this rockford fosgate p700-1bd amp brand new for $300 it comes with a birth sheet it says 750 rms on a 1ohm load. i cant find any reviews about it 225 rms x 1 @ 4-Ohms 450 rms x 1 @ 2-Ohms...

You can't go wrong with Rockford, in my opinion. Everything they make is well built and high quality. I personally have two Rockford p500-1bd amps hooked up to four 12 inch subs in my car and those amps make those subs slam. I have them wired down to 1 ohm and the specs say that they should be pushing 500 rms a piece at 1 ohm so that p700-1bd amp really packs a punch. Depending on what you're hooking up to that amp I would defenitely recommend it to you. - Ryan in Alaska

I have 2 15'' CVRs and a 1200w amp

1 OHM...ONE... sheesh now thats a low resistance for anything... If they are only 500 watts and they are in parallel, series well NO.. your amp puts out wayyyy too much for those speakers.. 1200w versus 500 watts by 2... srill NOT enough "Head room" for it to be safe... about half is all you could expect before Pop.. sound is heard.

4000.1 soundstorm amp

Hello GregV24CHOPP,

The Soundstorm products are in about the same category as Boss, Visonik, Pyle, and Lanzar to name a few. Somewhere between overrated and definitely overpriced for the quality you get.

Look into the Alpine MRP-M1000. RMS = 1kW into 2ohms (600 into 4ohms), YES 4 OHMS(!), real power. No, it WON'T do one ohm. But most of those claiming to are not CEA2006 compliant anyway and can claim any power at any load and advertise for whatever buyers they can attract for their bottom-of-the-barrel products.

The MRP-M1000 is currently on sale at Crutchfield for only $347. Awesome power, and very good sound quality, too. I'm currently running 2 4ohm MTX Thunders off of "little brother", the MRP-M500, and they really shake the pavement.

You have to spend good money to get good power, there is no way around that.

The only wiring configurations for 2 2ohm DVC subs result in 0.5ohm, 2ohms, and 8ohms impedance. Check the Rockford-Fosgate "wiring wizard" for the different diagrams.

Hope this helps.

I have 2 kicker l7 12 dual voice coil subs.. i just friend a hifonics 1600w amp and am wondering if a kx 1200.1 kicker amp will be enough to power them they are 750w rms a piece .. can these be run at 1...

it all depends on the impendance of your subs if u have duel 4ohm or duel 2ohm, 2 duel 4ohm speakers can be wired at 1ohm to the amp, and with a kx1200.1 that would be pushin 2400 peak and 1200rms
if ya have 2 duel 2ohm speaker than you can only wire them to 2ohm and would be pushing 1200 peak and 600 rms with the kx1200, so if you have the duel 4ohm i would go with the kx1200.1 and if u have the duel 2ohm i would go with the hifoncs

Amp getting really hot

well it is getting hot due to the amp drawing and pushing alot of current. try getting lower gage wiring for power to the amp and lower gage speaker wire.

Planet audio vx3002

Sorry wayne2953 but this amplifier isn't stable @ 1ohm loads. This amplifier would be better suited running a pair of 12's, 4 12" subs could run if configured correctly but the subs would be underpowered and probably not sound very good.

Features of Planet Audio VX3002:

  • Max Power (2 Ohms) : 300W x 2
  • RMS Power (4 Ohms) : 150W x 2
  • Bridged Power (4 Ohms) : 600W x 1
  • Signal-to-Noise Ratio : 102dB
  • Frequency Response : 20Hz-20kHz
  • Dimensions : 10-5/8"W x 2-7/16"H x 16"L
