My washer stopped working with the above code. I have tried the solutions posted previously (unsucessfully), which would probably work fine, but for the small detail of not being able to remove the screws. Is there some trick? I have tried both allen wrenches and screwdrivers with no success. Please help if possible. The washer is full of water and there are now sopping wet clothes in my sink.
Thanks!
The screws are a #20 torx bit. Once you take those out, remove the panel. Behind it is a white plastic pump. I usually remove the torx screw in it too so it can come out further and I can get a bucket under it. As you unscrew the front of it counter clock wise, drain out the water SLOWLY. Then clean debris from the trap.
