Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

Locked Out Hi I was wondering if you can help me get back into my phone. I have the Nextel ic502 and somehow my security lock codes are changed and I am locked out of my phone I was wondering if there is a way to unlock my phone with out reprogramming my phone and if not will reprogramming my phone erase screen savers and ring tones?

First and formost, What you will need to do, is contact Sprint/Nextel customer care, to get what is called the PUK codes, if you have your phone on a Business/Personal/Corp account, you WILL need to have verification. This WILL NOT force you to lose your contacts, also just a friendly tip, Reprogramming the phone will NOT make you lose your contacts.....ever.
The only thing that could possible to this, is if you do a master reset, through the phone security options * if you have a older Update version *.

Your nextel/sprint k502 maybe 'Network Locked' and thusl not allow another network Sim to be used: if you are no nonger under contract, you maybe able to get a free NCK or NUK Network unlock code.

Your phone is locked to a mobile phone provider. You need to contact this mobile provider to ask for the unlock code (security code) for your phone. You need to provide proof of ownership etc and the phone's unique IMEI number which is located inside the phone under the battery. They use this number to generate the unlock code for your phone.
They should provide you with instructions on how to enter this code into the phone.
Once you unlock the phone, then you can insert a new SIM card in the phone.

To change the backlight setting:
1.Press Menu/Ok >Settings >Display >Light Control > Backlight Control.
2.Select how long the backlight should stay on.(If you
choose Flip Open ,the backlight stays on as long as the
phone is open.)
3.Press Menu/Ok .

Unlock ic502

You cannot use a Boost sim card in the phone, it HAS to be a powersource sim card. You may be able to purchase one of these at a Sprint Nextel Repair location, or via Customer Care Sales. Let me know how it goes, I do apologize for the incovience.

I do apologize, but you cannot UNLOCK a motorola phone, Call MOTOROLA care, to see if there is anything other that you can do, but with the Nextel SIM card, it is basically made, NOT to be unlocked.

If you have the 6 digit MSL code you press ##MSL# then the View Edit and Done screen will put up on its own. Then Select edit put your phone number in. Then press ok on the next screen it will ask for a MSID if you have this number enter it and then press ok, after entering the MSID the phone will go back to the Screen with the View Edit Done.....Select done and the phone I will reset.
