There is a 90 % possibility that the wireless settings on the gaming adapter and the router are not the same. Try to reconfigure this again. Remember that the gaming adapter's wireless settings needs to synchronize with that of the router to make the gaming adpater works. Call netgear and verify the settings on your wireless connection and reverify the settings you have on the adapter. For manual instructions, see user guide at www.linksys.com/download

Im trying to hook up my ps3 to the internet but it says i have to download an update and when i try to update it says that a connection to the server cannot be established

You are likely having issues in which your router is blocking the connection.

Select your router at the link above, skip the advertisement, then when you are asked to select a game, select the Playstation Network and follow the instructions.

Trying to get online but cant

You have to make sure that the router isn't still loading, to unload it you need to hook the internet to a local computer in your house. Just get on any website and then hook it up to your PS3 and it should work.

Hooking up to the internet

Hello,
You would need a 30-60 foot ethernet cable or a wireless router.
Either way, here is the page that has the instructions for hookup. I hope this helps! Good luck!

No AUX button on TV and lost orignal remote

Try hooking up PS2 as instructed and turn on. Then check all channels to find which one is receiving the signal. I had to do the same thing with an older RCA.

Router not working at all

If you followed what the manual said ie. resettting the router and it still has the same problems it could be an internal problem. If all of the lights are going out, even when nothing is hooked up then it;s nothing your doing wrong. Take it back (depending on how long ago you bought it) and get a new one, I don't sugggest getting the same brand or model though. Try and stick to a D-Link brand or Linksys, there are litlle bi tmore money but proven and more reliable. Even if you buy a wireless try and use a wired connection for your hook ups, they are more secure, faster and no interferance. Hope this helps!

Playstation 2 slimline

Hi Crazymatt,

You need to connect to the Cablemodem or have a router that will allow connection for both your PS2 and your computer. Connecting to your computer does not allow a path to the internet for your PS2.
