Hello,

I would suggest using the set bios default option on the main screen. This should reset everything to factory defaults.

Be sure to exit saving settings. After that, assuming there's no hardware damage, it should start fine.

Hope this helps. Please remember to rate this information.

Thanks

Does asus p5gc-mmx/1333 support usb booting

Yes, enter the bios by pressing the del key on start up, you will need to have the usb device connected.
Enter the advanced settings tab and your usb device should be selectable as a boot device.
If the bios has no such option, find out what bios revision you are using (on the first blue screen after hitting the del key) and check the asus website for a bios revision that is newer.

P4pe x cannot detect hhd drive

If the BIOS cannot detect the hard drive then :-
1. The hard drive data cable or power connector may not be inserted properly.
2. The motherboard disk controller is faulty.
3 The hard disk is faulty.

To test the motherboard disk controller, connect another hard disk to the motherboard and go into the BIOS to see if it detects the hard drive.
If it detects the hard drive, then the other hard drive is faulty and need to be replaced.
Another way to test the "faulty" hard drive, connect the hard drive to an USB hard drive adapter and plug it into a working computer's USB port. If this computer sees it as an external hard drive and you can open the folders and files the the hard disk is OK, and the fault is a faulty disk controller on the motherboard.

Looking sound driver installer to my computer asus p4pe acpi bios revision 1005

Go to asus.com and enter your info there. You will be shown a page with all the pertinent drivers for your computer. Download your audio driver and then install it. If you still don't have any audio after that then your integrated sound card may be burned out. You can easily fix that by getting a PCI sound card.

BIOS issue or ? Rebooting PC into BIOS on ASUS A7V8X-X ACPI BIOS Revision 1003, 13.2.2003

If you lose time and day, means the little battery on your motherboard is done. Get a new one, replace it, should be fine then. As far as booting into BIOS, there should be a boot option, and you can boot into a hard disk, a usb or a cd rom drive. Of course in this case, choose the hard disk that has your operation system on it.

PC won't boot if SATA drive connected, drive works fine if plugged afterward

Try Hirens Boot CD. It has a lot of programs on it to detect format etc.
I think your hard drive has a missing or corrupt MBR and it needs to be replaced.
When I have had a hard dive not recognized I hve used Super Fdisk to format and reset hard drive.
