Hello! I have a problem with my LG 775FT monitor. I have used it for about 6 months. Everything was fine, and now I have a problem with picture. Its not steady. The brigthness its OK, just the picture is sometimes small sometimes bigger, it is jumping.

i think your problem is there is no clarity ...means picture is not clear ....if yes then solution is replace FBT ..................if your problem is something else kindly give little more details........

What happens when you press the on button? Please use a different power cable and/or data cable and see what happens. If it persists, you have to get another monitor.

there is a picture tube inside the monitor which is not pointed well at the center so you have to take it to the service center..

Six to seven years is about the usual life of a picture tube, and then you start seeing signs of aging. Poor focus is one common symptom (the loss of crispness you noticed). There is an internal focus adjustment, but it usually can't compensate for the tube. If you want to try it, the control is on a part called the flyback transformer. It's usually found on a rear corner of the circuit board, and has a red wire going to a rubber contact cap on the picture tube. Most flybacks have two little knobs on them, and you want to tweak the one marked "FOCUS" a little to see if improves the picture. BE VERY CAREFUL! WITH THE POWER ON THERE ARE POSSIBLY LETHAL VOLTAGES EXPOSED!

If the focus adjustment doesn't help enough, it's time to look for a sale on an LCD monitor. The prices have come way down, and eBay is a great place to look for deals if you don't want to buy new.

go to http://www.Lg.com support drivers you need to check for you model make serial and windows tipe if you can not get it from there you can go to http://www.driversguide.com fill out the registration and go to the LG monitor and look for your model serial and windows system

Try hooking the monitor up to another computer to see if the symptom remains the same if it does you might be needing a new monitor

Doesn't look very good :( You can try returning to the "factory settings" in your monitor's menu. Maybe try the monitor in another computer to check whether your graphics card is faulty. But all in all it looks like a fault from the monitor :( Good Luck!
