Webexception an error message cannot be displayed because an optional resource assembly containing it cannot be found at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.FinishGetResponse() at...etc, etc, etc. Above are the details of the error (which the error message simpy styates the first 2 lines of this issue) I am having. Basically we use the MC 70 in a distribution environment and we pull orders and count items. The program works until we hit the save or pull button which just tells the program to post data back into SQL Server 2005. We use another porogram to establish and handle the connection called eConnect. I have 3 total MC 70's and 1 of the 3 works. I installed the exact same software on all three and have verified that all the settings match. Thanks for any solution you can provide. P.S. Software is as follows: scanwedge NETCFv2.wm.armv4i sqlce30.wce5.armv4i sql.wce4.armv4 (only because the program will not launch without it being installed...i do not know why that is the case)

Description
Errors 00 through Error 04 check upper PCA memory locations, RAM memory locations and
EEPROM checksum during the power up test sequence. If a fault is found during the power up
test sequence, the appropriate error code will be displayed.
Possible Causes
1. These errors messages almost always indicate an upper PCA problem when they are
consistently displayed. Failures causing these error messages to be displayed are rare.
Possible Remedies
1. If the error message is consistently displayed when the unit is powered up, the upper PCA
should be replaced. It is possible to see one of these messages displayed intermittently due
to external causes. If the units A.C. input significantly dips during the power up test sequence
the test could fail resulting in one of these messages being displayed. Treadmills operating
on non-dedicated A.C. circuits may see these messages displayed on an intermittent basis.
Remember PCA, mean Printed circuit assembly with the componentsattached.

extend the events there you will see errors in red you will no what exactly what the error was and at what time it occured you might be able to uninstall then reinstall some of these files/software

ok, in my case i remembered I tried using a proxy on internet explorer and forgot to put it off, so the proxy connection was still on even though the proxy was dead.

It now a proven fact to me that internet explore settings are linked to yahoo mess!
so make sure your internet explorer is working ok without proxy:

1. Open your Internet Explorer
2. Go to Tools > Internet Options then click the Connections tab
3.Click the LAN Settings button and a new dialog box will open
4. At the new dialog box, look for the Proxy server checkbox, if this is checked, uncheck it.
5. Then your done, click OK button for the dialog boxes.
6. Try logging in to your Yahoo Messenger account.

I don't know what program you're using, but usually when you get the message "An error message cannot be displayed because an optional resource assembly containing it cannot be found", it is because the program is using the .net compact framework but the file System_SR_ENU_wm.cab has not bee installed on the device yet. That .cab installs the resource file that is missing. Once it is installed on the device, you'll see a better error message than the one you're seeing now.

try to refer this problem to your manufacturer/ store owner of your laptop because most probably its either your memory(RAM) or your video card needs to be reset.it may have loose their connections.

because in the desktop PC's, these are the common problems especially upon booting up your computer.
