Question about Toshiba TP55H60 55" Rear Projection Television

Turned my tv off last night woke up this morning and it wont come on

I unpluged it from the digital box and the power light is just blinking. there is no picture or sound. i just hooked the tv up by it self and it still does the same thing. as soon as i plug it in the power light still comes on and blinks. it was fine when i turned it off last night but it wont come on today

I got the tv from my brother it was working fine for about two weeks untill some lines appeared on the top of the screen but after awhile went away turned off my tv in the morning came home from work could not turn back on with the remote or the power on the tv the light on the tv just just blinks in red.I did unplug the tv but still nothing happened. Is this a big problem and should I fix [email protected] thank you please advice me what to do.

Power supply or set is not allowing set fully on as a problem in any of a number of areas in the set. Try unplugging set for a while to see if that helps or have a tech look at it.

My Samsung HLR5067 was working fine last night. I left the house open and it dipped in temp (only to 40 degrees or so though)...Woke up this morning and it wont turn on at all. Just beeps a few times,...

Tv projection Lamp might be some how the causes again.Tries unplug,replug tv back like about an hour later.Try it again,should work now.If not,yes the projection lamp,might have been kill by the cold weather.

Tv wont turn on< red power light just keeps blinking?

I have the same thing. Just started blinking 10 times. Pretty much had to unplug the unit over night. Could never turn it off and then turn it on again.
This worked for about a week. This morning, tried to turn it on after being unplugged. Still blinks.
Called Panasonic. they attempted a couple solutions, nothing. Suggested authorized repair shop.

Unplug TV set from the outlet, wait 30 seconds, plug it back in, select right input with your remote if you using cable box or Punch the channel that you want to watch if you have cable service connected directly to the TV.

Tv has no power-it was running perfect then just went black yesterday morning-light sensor blinking blue not stesdy blue light-I had to leave for the day- got home late last night -still blinking blue...

It's being picked up this morning to be repaired by appliance store it came from.

TV will not turn on

Hello,

I am by no means an expert but i have the same type of TV and have a similiar problem, first I thought it might be a heat-induced effect so I vacuumed the interior but no joy--then I carefully inspected the main board and found two components that looked melted. So I would suggest you vaccum the interior and then inspect. But be careful as I found one capacitor on the board that still had a charge after 3 days of the set being turned off, you might want to verify things with a multimeter before poking around.
