there r two hole in ur optic one is tr n other is rx u have seen in tr leser light mark it contineous glow or disconnect if it is continious change ur optic cable

try to do cold reset:

1. Turn the printer off.
2. Press and hold down the green GO button.
3. Turn the print on while continuing to hold down the green GO button for at least 5 seconds, but no longer than 15 seconds. During this process, the attention LED (!) turns on.
4. Release the GO button. The printer is ready if the green ready light is steadily on.

You have software to reset ml 1640 printer, you can use refill toner.

please dear it is problem your printer toner unite because it has a emage chip in toner it is disavle to print. it is not riffill you change this toner and buy new one original samsung toner then solve your problem

exchange your power cords. The current one may have a bad connection. It's worth a try...

I just bought a Kodax 5300 Easyshare the test page is fine, however when I print a document from a word doument the first print you can barely see the few lines then it does not print at all. What can I do to solve this problem?
