I have need to do contacts transfer from samsung b7320 to outlook 2010 with a Win 7 machine. Active sync is not working. Pls suggest.

This works for me on Windows 7 RTM x64.
1. Install Office 2010 x64.
2. Open Outlook and configure your profile and let it do its thing.
3. When done, exit Outlook
4. Install WMDC and click OK to ignore the setup error that Outlook is not installed.
5. BACKUP your profile/PST file!!
6. Install Outlook 2007 (ONLY Outlook 2007, not any of the other apps and not any of the shared stuff like OCR, etc.)
7. Sync your device. Click OK if prompted that your profile was created with a newer version of Outlook and may contain data not usable in this version. IN MY EXPERIENCE, there has been no adverse effect that I can notice.
8. Disconnect your device and reopen Outlook 2010, and ignore the message that "Either Outlook is not installed...", as Outlook should come right up after that.
To sync again, simply EXIT Outlook 2010 before connecting your device.

I think Samsung b7320 is the best fone with a superb price tag. Fone has everything 3G, video call, WIFI, Bluethooth, GPS, A-GPS, good resolution camera, qwerty keyboard and a solid battery backup.

Open your inbox, menu-tools-options, hold 2-3 seconds on the email account and a contextual menu will appear that has only one option: delete. Using this option will delete the account, and you will be able to re-add the account with the proper configuration.

It works for me with win7 professional 32bit. Can you try another computer with a 32bit version of windows? I also own this phone and there are no problems syncing this phone with outlook contacts. I run win 7 professional on a DELL core2duo 1.8ghz laptop.
