It may be that the main hydraulic valve body (right side of tactor behind battery box) has grit in one of the valves. This happened to my 2290 a number of times, so I now carry a wrench in the tractor so I can remove the valves (six of them) one at a time, clean them and reinsert, and be on my way.

Losing cap on hydrolic fluid resevoir

Dear Kathleen,
The problem should be back pressure.
The reservoir should have no pressure in it at all, but a blocked return line, a crimped hose or tube, or a internally leaking pump can cause these problems.
Something is causing the pump pressure to enter the reservoir.
It might be time to have someone look at it.
God bless your efforts.

Hi and welcome to FixYa!
Looks like that you have a worn out clutch lining. I strongly suggest that you have the clutch lining, pressure plate and release bearing be replaced to resolve the problem.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

Hi! My car is a Dodge Grand Caravan 2005, the problem is with the right side automatic door, when i press the button on the car or the remote control it start opening but stops on 1/4 wide then i have to...

im not 100% sure how these doors work if they are hydrolic or motor driven, cold weather may play a part in the problem.

if hydrolic the cold may reduce power in the sytem and if motor driven lubricant in the rails maybe tacking causing the door safety to kick in as strain on the motor may set of anti trapping device if a hand had got in the way etc. try moving the vehicle to a warm garage or simular for a few hours and see if problem persits.

My john deere 316 stopped moving forward and reverse and the hydrolics stop on the blade. what could cause this?

HAVE YOU CHECKED THE TRANSMISSION/HYDRAULIC
OIL? THEY ARE THE SAME. ON SOME TRACTORS THIS
CAN BE CHECKED AT THE REAR OF THE TRACTOR JUST
BELOW THE SEAT. IT COULD ALSO BE A BAD HYDRAULIC
PUMP.

My 82 Sabre 750 has water in the hydrolic clutch system. What's the best way to flush the system?

pull off the housing careful not to touch the clutches, and just wipe it out of the bottom or have a transmission shop flush it

You needb to drain the hydrolic fluid and then remove the suction tubethat comes from the right side of the engine and attaches to the hydrolic pump.Loosen the hose clamps and seperate the hose from the tube. Now go under the tractor and remove the brace that goes to the deck. Then go further under the tractor and take the last bolts out of the suction tube. Now you can remove the suction screen and clean it with some solvent and put it back in.Put your tractor back together, install a new hydrolic filter and top up the hydrolic oil,it should move.

Hydraulic low power-need schematic/manual-online

You can go to the case web site and purchase the cd or the scematics for the 921b, you can also buy the book, it costs $58.00 plus shipping. Case has all it's manuals copy writted so it is hard to find copies that are leagle to use.
If your having trouble with hydrolic pressure the most common cause is a cylinder bypassing, on occasion the stacked control valves go bad but not that often. Each valve has a set screw for pressure and a popit valve that can get dirt in it and cause the valve to bypass pressure. however the most common failure that I ghave seen is the sesna hydrolic pump going bad because the hydrolic fluid gets water in it and damages the pump. the pump is alumminum and the gears are steel and the thrust washers wear out. To find out for sure what is wrong test the pump output pressure with a pressure tester, this is assuming you have changed the filters for the system. Also if you use the wrong fluid here is a book on e-bay that is $40.00 dollars for the manual.

1998 automatic fiat punto

another factor that could affect your problem is the hydrolic fluid. there is a valve body inside the gearbox which controlls the gears. so lets say the vavle that controlls first gear dont open then the hydrolic fluid wont activate first gear. i think when u revv the engine it is increasing the hydrolic pressure which is aiding the vavle to open. the problem could be in the valve controll modual.

1992 A4LD trans problems.

Sounds like the shift kit is warn out in the transmission. The overdrive line may not be able to provide enough hydrolic pressure to engage the gears to move the truck. When you switch to regualr drive, that line is able to build the hydrolic pressure to engage the gears. At a certian speed (for the transmission, certian hydrolic pressure) there is enough pressure to engage the gears in overdrive, but go below that, and you have to start in drive again. If this is the case, there is no easy fix for that and I recomend taking it to a transmission shop to have your shift kit examined. Opening up an automatic transmission requires specalized tools, clean shop enviroment, and knowlage more then the average back yard machanic has.
