My new samsung sph m500 cell phone is causing me a great deal of difficulty: I am unable to insert the memory card properly. I have tried many ways, yet in never actually clicks in place, and the manual offers no help whatsoever ( memory card is a 32 mb transflash sandisk )anyone else have this problem and can anyone help me?

Im trying to get a video i took off my samsung m500 and be able to burn it to a regular dvd it says its in 3gp format but i tried several 3gp converters and nothing comes close to converting them all that came with my phone is a usb cable dont i need a driver disk or some program that will allow me to shoot videos and be able to take them off my memory card on my phone and burn them to a dvd disk to be able to watch on regular tv set.? please email me at [email protected] with step by step instructions on what i need to do and exactly what soft ware i need and any USEFULL" links thank you

Just push it in there with a knife , it should go
When you push it un , try using your funger nail to push it in as far as you can(but not too far) and it will stay in if you do it right

well, turns out I just wasnt pushing hard enough. still, my complain about the manual persists
i can get the memory card in the card reader on the phone but the memory card will not stay down it just keeps popping back up and the saftey flap wont close because the memory card is in the way

I just got this phone a couple of days ago and can't seem to get the memory card to work. I can't get any music onto my phone. I have tried everything. Someone please HELP me !!!
i have the same problem and now when i put it into my computer it will not show up in the my computer settings!!!! HELP!! ps still cant get it into the slot in the phone for the memory chip!
I too have the same problem but it works in my white one but not my black one and tried the results above, pushing harde and using a knife but nothing works, Could it be a manufacturer defect? Any one else have the same problem too and had to bring it in fro service. I seems that the spring is not working.
i have music on the memory card but it doesn't show up when i open the menu for the memory card.
