VPN's are usually set up on the computer. The only issue on the router is if you block the ports it wants to use.

So read the VPN software and see what it suggests the ports need to be set at.

Yeah that's a dual band router. Which means it operates on 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. Sounds like some of your devices only work on the 2.4Ghz. So make sure it is enabled in the configuration.

1. First check the light status of the XE102.
2. Then hard reset the Xe102
3. As this is a plug n play device all the lights should come on.
4. In case if the lights wont come on.
5. Check the powerline ..
6. And if that will not work , get a new adapter or replace the existing one from netgear ( 1-888-638-4327 )

I have the same problem and have read numerous articles on the same thing, it seems that MAC is having a problem with some of the aircards they put in the macbooks and should have a fix out soon.
