Photos disapear without format

If i make photos i have to stay with my camera on and then i go to computer and take photos from the camera. if the camera close by accident and i go to the computer and take photos, those photos macicaly disapear. i tried with 2 microcard. i format the camera and nothing. sorry my english

First do not panic! It is possible to recover your pictures if you take care. Take the card from the camera (powered off) and if it has a "write protect" tab then lock it now. Do not try and write anything to the card or you risk causing more problems.

You can either plug in you camera to the PC as it should appear as a “Removable Drive” or put the card in a card reader attached to your PC.

Next, if you are comfortable with using a PC then you can download a FREE utility that will recover your photos from the following link:

http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec

If you need something a little more "user friendly" then you will need to buy the software. If you search the web for photo recovery software you will find many.
One I have used successfully is RescuePro that used to be bundled with some Sandisk products. Now you can get it from the link below:

You can try the demo to see what you can recover before buying.

Remember - Do NOT try & write anything back to the card until you can recover your pictures to your PC safely!

What format i need to download photos
Depending upon the settings of image quality, most likely the photos are stored in jpg file format.
ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER
If your photos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

The display shows that the card is not formatted..Format card ? How to solve this ? When I proceed to change the format.. It comments that the images will be deleted. I'm in need of those images.....

Memory card suddenly says needs formatting but "the formatting" now will erase everything if formatted

Cant download my digital photos to computer
here If your driver cd has been installed and the camera shows up in the pc, and it doesnt complain about anything you should be able to view the images by-

1. goto desktop
2. Open my computer
3. now look around for the cameras storage memory, there should be a new drive there. If you now remove the cameras usb cable. and plug it back, keep the my computer open and watch witch drive disapears and comes back.
4. The one that disapeared and came back, is your cameras memory, open it and open the folders with in it to get to your pictures.
5. now that you have found the picture files, you can copy them to your pc, or print them, or send them to a online picture service to have them mail the pictures for you. This costs ofcourse......

Yes. Do not try and do anything with the card in the camera. Remove it.
You need to connect the card to a USB card reader, and connect that to your computer.
You need a file recovery software. There are a heap of them and most want to sell them to you, You might bea ble to find a free one with enough searching.
I have used PhotoRescuePro and it is very good. It recovered data from a card that a faulty camera corrupted.
Do a google on

I have a Fuji camera and finepix viewer software. i tried to load some photos from the camera to the computer. the photos came up in finepix viewer, but now i can't open the file or find the photos on the...
i have a fujifilmfinepixviewer s ver.2.1 i was trying to load my photos it would not load,but i saw the last five photos i took but it look like they were only scan. They disapear from my computer. Can you tell me how to get them back.

Camera deletes my images
Hello Cindy, i suggest to take backup of your photos regularly. then if you are using internal memory,format it regularly and you are using memory card also format regularly. if your problem stil remain, it is possible that your memory card is defective, buy new one,Transcend advisable.
