SOURCE: Remove bottom front panel AEG 6081

before you take the pump out, if drain hose goes into a spigot on the sink trap, take drain hose off and check hose and spigot are not blocked. this is very common.
can't remember anything special about the screws - used to be philips head but may have changed to multi-spline.the top ones are indeed obscured by the door panel but you can normally get to them with a stubby screwdriver or take the outer door panel off - just a few screws

It would be an allen wrench. Any typical multi sized wrench should have the proper sized allen wrench.

The holes can often become filled with grime so be sure to seat the wrench properly to prevent stripping.

SOURCE: what is the torx size to remove the screws in the

The torx screws are only the first part of a delicate procedure. Once the screws are removed it still requires special tools etc to open the unit without damaging it. Once it is open there are very small and extremely fragile connectors that are easily destroyed if you try to disconnect them the wrong way. If there is a problem with your unit I highly recommend not trying to fix it yourself, it is well worth the $ to have it done by an expert. There are several post-warranty repair companies out there but the only one I recommend is www.sharcnet-usa.com.

Is it a torx or allen head screw that holds the keyless chuck on a Dewalt Cordless Drill model # dw959. If it is a torx, what size is it ? Is it a right or left handed thread ?

don't know the sizes for the screw but it is the wrong way threads. when you get that out you need a very large allen wrench in the chuck and tight. lay the drill body on a work bench and hit the allen wrench hard to break it loose. it unscres normally.

96 Audi A4 2.8L how to replace combo head light switch on steering column?

For this repair you will need a 6mm Allen key or socket, long no. 1 phillips screwdriver, 24mm socket with extension and ratchet handle and a T20 Torx driver or socket.

Park the vehicle and make sure the front wheels are straight and the steering wheel centred. Remove the negative battery terminal (make sure you have the radio code first!). Loosen the two 6mm Allen bolts on the back of the steering wheel and CAREFULLY remove the airbag by pulling straight out on the orange connector on the back of the airbag. Always store the airbag, when removed from the vehicle, with the side facing the driver in the UP position, preferably out of the vehicle.

Loosen and remove the 24mm nut in the centre of the steering wheel. Make note of the position of the wheel relative to the steering shaft with a marker or scribe. Do not remove the steering wheel from the shaft as yet. Next remove the two phillips screws from the recess holes in the bottom steering column cover. Loosen the locking handle under the steering column to allow it to drop down and with the handle still loose, remove the Torx bolt from the centre of the lower cover. Next, remove the upper steering column cover and disconnect the two wiring connectors that come from the back of the steering wheel. With those two wires disconnected, remove the steering wheel by pulling it straight off towards you. Place the steering wheel on a bench or other flat surface so the wiring and connectors are not damaged.

Remove the three small phillips head screws from the lower steering column cover that were behind the steering wheel and carefully pull the cover free around the ignition tumbler. You now have access to the turn signal, headlamp and wiper switches. Be careful when removing electrical connectors and be sure to note the position of all screws and other fasteners.

Reinstall in the reverse order and follow procedure for entering radio code and resetting auto down feature on LH and RH front windows.

I dont know what to use to remove the cover to remove spark plug , is it a allan key or philips screw driver & what size thanks jim

Most likely it is a Torx head type screw. Looks like a cross between a Allen & Philips. Go to your local hardware store or auto supply store and get a Torx driver with exchangeable bits (about $4.00)

Need to replace belt on Eureka Powerline 12.0 vac. Screws look like Torx head or something on bottom of vac. Are those the screws that need to come out for changing? If so, what size do I need?

No, do not remove the torx head screws for a belt change. If there are any screws that need to be removed for the belt change, they will be phillips head. What is model # of vac??

Dissassembly George Foreman Champ Grill

On mine they are actually "Security Torx, Tamper-Resistant Torx (often shortened to Torx TR), or pin-in-Torx contains a post in the center of the head that prevents a standard Torx driver (or a straight screwdriver) from being inserted." quoted from Wikipedia.

Buy a security bit set or if you don't mind scratches try vise grip pliers on the outside of screw heads.
