I have a RAZR from a few years ago - I think it's the first version that came out. I have a problem with my phone just dying even though the battery shows it has half its charge. I have to remove the battery and put it back in and then hold down the on/off button to get it to load but after a matter of 30 sec to a minute it does the same thing.
Also with the same battery, it has been 'charging' for 7 hours overnight, but this morning the status display was still showing the battery at empty.

the mini usb port for charging often breaks, does your charger feel loose?
the software sometimes gets worn out, it would help to know which software version you were on... you can check to see if you are on the most current s/w version with your provider (this could potentially fix issues if your phone is saying "invalid charger" or "unauthorized charger")
is your battery swollen? does it feel pudgy? test your battery by taking it out and putting it on a table flat and trying to spin it. if the battery spins easily, then it is no longer good.
also, most lithium-ion batteries only have a shelf life of about 365 charges. it will tell you the date of make on the battery, check it out. most batteries give you a one year warranty... each time you plug your phone in, it counts as a charge, so you should wait for your phone to only have one battery bar left (but do not let it die completely, cause this causes the battery's life to run out faster)
sometimes, rarely, but sometimes, the charger itself is bad. ask a friend to try theirs, or try your car charger. see if it works then.
Well... I would say no.. Not worth battery.. I had the same thing happen to me where my phone wouldn't charge and we bought a new battery for $50.00 and then we find out my phone is shot.. so I would strongly recommend getting a new phone..
Moto Razr components where taken off the assembly line years ago and all parts used are refurbished or stockpiled.........you have a bad battery, case closed........the razr has a few common flaws...... ear piece, LCD, and battery tends to go out without notice and on a rare occasion wont work right out of the box.....Working at Sprint PCS I saw 1 out of every 15 Razrs have problems straight from the box....take the phone back to the staore and they will giv you a new battery as they should be away of the hiccups associated with this device!!!! :D
and by the way, 3-4 hrs use from a 15 min charge is awesome.......just your battery has an internal flaw that is causing it to transfer too much power.....(i.e. thats how it is able to charge so fast, but also why it dies so fast) if you have another razr laying around try that battery as long as the lettering on the battery is the same....fr example : a battery with the code bt50 and br50 are not interchangeable.
Good Luck and pls rate this post!!!! :D
this is two different problems you are having . fuzzy screens is one . dying battery is another. need to get both fix .manufacturing warranty i think is two year hurry.
