Sharper Imaage Ionizers

Ionized air purification systems have been proven to be ineffective for cleaning the air. These reports have been published by Consumer Reports as well as the EPA. Sharper Image filed a lawsuit against Consumer Reports and lost. They were ordered to pay Consumer Reports legal bills as well.

Sharper Image issued a recall on all Ionic Breeze Ionizers and filed for Chapter 11 at the same time.

Ionizers have been proven to create an ozone that is harmful to anyone with breathing problems.

Support for Ionic Breeze isn't possible since Shaper Image has recalled the product.

Who could I send the blade interior section to to replace a broken part?

If you purchased it before 2008, nobody. Sharper image went bankrupt and was bought by another co who does NOT warranty or repair older products. Below is excerpt from their site:

Q. I bought an item from the Former Sharper Image that is broken, what do I do?
A. Unfortunately, we are not able to assist you with products purchased from the Former Sharper Image Company, which filed for bankruptcy on February 19, 2008. We are a new company offering new and innovative Sharper Image products.

Q. What happened to the Sharper Image retail stores?
A. All Sharper Image retail stores have closed.

Q. What is the difference between the New Sharper Image and the Former Sharper Image?
A. On Friday, May 30, 2008, the Former Sharper Image (The Sharper Image Corporated) assets were acquired by a joint venture formed between Hilco Consumer Capital, Gordon Brothers and Bluestar Alliance. This joint venture has been re-established as The Sharper Image. I have 2 Ionic Breeze GP units with 8 year warranty, where do I get warranty work done. They are both not working. I have paper work for warranty. Can you help. [email protected]

I Am trying to program the sharper image jumbo sized universal tv remote.I can;t get the Samsung dvd/vcr combo to except any code listed in the instruction manual

I can help you with your Sharper Image remote control.

There are two Sharper Image Remote Controls: a Sharper Image Jumbo Touch Remote Manual, and a Sharper Image Jumbo Remote Manual.

The Jumbo Touch remote does have a learn function which may be helpful in controlling your Samsung DVD/VCR combo.

I have a sharper image Ionic Breeze GP still under warranty. One of the blue lights on the Germicidal lamp is out and needs to be replaced. Where can I purchase this part, now that Sharper Image is no...

If the warranty you are counting on is a Sharper Image Warranty I need to advise you that it was voided in the buyout on 30 May, 2008 when everything at Sharper Image was liquidated by Hilco Consumer Capital, Gordon Brothers, and Bluestar Alliance. If however it was a warranty company outside of Sharper Image you need to contact them.

You can purchase a bulb for the GP on ebay for under $11, which is really a good price considering what you would have paid from Sharper Image. Installation is easy, you just pull up on the tab on the bottom of the filter and pull up. When you are looking at the bulb, turn it 1/4 turn, (2 clicks) and pull it out. That is all there is to it. Hope this helps you.

Sharper Image has recalled all Ionic Breeze Ionizers. This is what put Sharper Image into chapter 11.

Sharper Image GP Silent Air Purifier with Ionic Breeze s1730

i have 2 units, and had this same issue happen 3 times. Tonight it happened with a forth, last time i had to talk to management to get it replaced outside of warranty. Ionic breeze has major quality issues, and I would NOT buy anything else from sharper image. They also reduced the warranty from the original model drastically. for the price these were, they should be covered lifetime to show their commitment to their product. there is also a class action lawsuit against sharper image, for their false claims for the product...i believe sharper image chose to settle.
