SOURCE: when playing notes on the A string I get a crackeling noise

Just a thought:

If you used the speakers with another amp and they still make noise when you play certain frequencies, then it is obviously a problem with the speakers or the cabinet - it could be a mechanical resonance in some part of a speaker / cabinet, something like a loose screw or a nut, loose protection mesh on the speakers that resonates at certain frequencies, possibly a bad speaker or a speaker membrane...

Also, you might want to check the pickups on your guitar, see if the pickup core slug under the A string is much closer to the string than the other slugs so it is either picking up too much signal and distorting it or the string might be touching the slug when you play it and cause noise, also see if the string is touching something else when it vibrates...

good luck

I have a peavey renown 400 while playing bar chords at 3 to 4 on volume amp will get loud and distorted on its own never shuts off though. but only happens bar chords 7th fret and above.mind baffling

Could be a few things, most simple the Tubes, and or biasing, I have had a few amps that certain notes or chords would cause harmonic distortion within the tubes, and the tubes where good? Another possibility is the output transformer? Sometimes when they are failing the volume varies... hope this helps?

Violin doesn't stay tuned

This is an intonation issue. If you can find a music store that works with violins, talk to someone there who will certainly be better informed than I am. At least they can tell you if it's worth your time to fix it, or more cost effective to replace it.

How to fix my amplifier head??

Flick your finger nail against the preamp tubes. This will tell you if any are microphonic which most likely the case. It usually takes a few minutes for them to begin squealing.

I have a jackson dinky DK2. what is happening is that on certain frets, like the 13th, 14th, 15th fret on the 2nd string (B string),when playing with slight drive or distortion, the note does not sound...

The frets MAY be worn or the neck truss rod MAY need adjustment, Neither of these is DIY unless yiu have experience in repoairing guitars. Since this is only on the 2nd string, inspect the frets for wear and the only DIY thing to try is to replace that string... DO that first !!!

So i went to go play my shecter today and i plugged it in and all i got was this buzzy sound from the amp is not outputting the right sound (fuzzy and distorted on the clean channel :O) what could be...

The Schecter C1 Fr Hellraiser comes with EMG active pickups I believe, did you try replacing the battery? Also unscrew the ends of your 1/4 inch instrument cable and make sure they are soldered properly. I am assuming you are going straight to your amp, not through any pedals?

The BOSS FDR-1 produces a popping sound when played

This is a common problem with this pedal experienced by allot of people. My best advice would be to sell it and put the money toward a real Fender tube amp and some good pickups. If you're trying to go cheap check out some Line 6 modeling stuff.

Psr e303 yamaha double sounds

Do you cover the keyboard when not in use as small particles of dust can make their way in between the keys?

You can try blowing any obstruction out with a can of compressed air, may solve your problem.

As I'm not familiar with this Model, does the keyboard have 'touch response' on board? If so there will probably be a 'Contact' strip made out of tubular rubber under the keys and this can sometimes 'burst' especially on a certain key that is played most of the time. For example if you play mostly in the key of 'G' or keys that use that note....

Hope you find this helpful......
