Quite frankly, alot of times a TV like this can be replaced cheaper than it can be fixed.

There are currently production shortages and non are available but some should free up in the next 8 to 12 weeks on the top end. Just keep shopping around to some sites that do list them. Also try searching google for some new merchant you may not know. I found quite a few with the search term: SuperMicro X5DA8 server motherboard

I think the two sticks you are talking about are the up and down limit controls. If you look at the cover you will see an arrow over each hole. If you turn the control in the direction of the arrow the door will travel further. The opposite is true if you turn the control against the arrow. It should be easy to adjust the door now.
