1.a psp slim with custom firmware 3.80 or 3.90. 2.composite/component av cable. 3.installer plugin file FUSA that can be sourced in the internet e.g. qj.net. 4.memory stick pro duo with 2 gigabytes capacity.
steps:
1.source the FUSA installer file. 2.once sourced, extract it to your pc desktop using 'winrar'. 3.connect pc to psp via usb. 4.upon extraction, copy or drag all four files (prx and txt) to the 'seplugins' folder on the memory stick (ms0:/seplugins/). 5.if you don't have the 'seplugins' folder on the root of the memory stick, create it. 6.exit usb connection and completely turn off psp, then turn it back on while pressing the 'R' button to go to recovery menu. 7.on recovery menu, choose and click plugins, set the FUSA plugin to 'enable',then exit recovery menu. 8.you can also activate the plugin on the FUSA menu itself, and this is better recommended. 9.connect now psp to crt tv using component av cable. 10.load a game and after loading it,just right before clicking the 'start' button to begin play, exactly at this point, simultaneously press on the volume - and + buttons to bring out the FUSA menu. 11.after a few seconds, the FUSA menu will appear on the psp screen, change the settings accordingly, exit FUSA menu and start the game to play it on your tv.
*many games or emulators will work but not all as the FUSA file is still in its beta stage, you need to figure out which one will work or not through trial and error.use caution, this guide works but no guarantees. *used a 2 gb memory stick pro duo as 4 gb didn't work. *used on an interlace only tv and not progressive or crt/non-flat/lcd/plastma/hdtv's.
The game that you got from the promo when you bought your psp has expired. They gave you a certain amount of time to play the game before they make it expire. They do that so that you can go out and buy the actual game. They give you a free demo to convince you to buy the actual whole game so they can make more money. And your psp cuts off when you leave it sitting for a period of time to save power and to avoid killing your power. It is a setting that you can change in the menu of your psp. You can change the amount of time you would like it to stay on while sitting un-active.
To play game on your memory stick you'll need Custom Firmware installed such as M33/OE on your PSP, else if you play a UMD. The last CFw Update is 3.71M33-3.
What is version on your PSP? (on PSP Menu, move across to the
"Settings Menu". Scroll down, select to "System Settings" >
"System Information" and you should see version of your PSP.)
Here's, how to install CFw Guides. Hope this be of some help/idea. Pls post back a detail should you need additional information. ^_^
Make sure the UMD is
properly inserted with the label facing the back of the PSP system.
Try removing the UMD and reinserting it.
Try playing the UMD on a different PSP system. If
the UMD plays, the original PSP system may be the problem. If the UMD
does not play, the problem may be isolated to the UMD itself.
Try playing
a different UMD on the PSP system. If another UMD plays, the original
UMD may be the problem. If none of the UMD's play, the problem may be
isolated to the PSP system.
Make sure the exposed UMD surface and plastic casing is not damaged[2]. Do not use if plastic casing is cracked, collapsed, or if foreign materials have entered inside the UMD enclosure.
