No Sound on my Acer Aspire M3100 PC

Purchased Acer aspire M3100 PC last Thursday (11 Oct 2007), and have connected all the wires correctly - but the sound is still not happening.

Have done the following:

Right click on "MY COMPUTER" select PROPERTIES. Then click on HARDWARE tab and click on DEVICE MANAGER.Now from the list click double-click on SOUND VIDEO AND GAME CONTROLLERS. No exclamation mark - and system says everything is working. But still no sound.

just set up this computer last night and have no sound. speakers are connected and plugged in. i tried a different set of speakers and didnt get any sound from them either. i checked device manager and there are no exclamation points. i didnt receive any cds with this computer. also, the speakers were showing up as "not connected" and i accidentally disabled them on the realtek hd audio manager when i was looking at the dropdown box so i also need to know how to enable them again because they arent listed anymore.

They have the new drivers on their website. Updating the drivers might fix your issues. Just type "acer aspire M3100+Drivers" into google and it should be your first option.

Hi
Check the VGA connections and probably replace the cable.
Try another monitor with the same desktop and see what happens.
