Turn the TV on From main supply: Ensure that the main supply is turned on. A blue indicator light on the front of the TV lights up. When the TV is turned on by the main supply, the blue indicator light will blink for 45 seconds. This is the lamp's start-up period. When the light goes off, press the POWER button on the remote control or power switch. Press POWER to turn on the TV.
hi, You have to check the power supply of you tv for any voltage missing. also check the back light inverter board for any short circuit in it. Inverter transformers in the back lightcontrolling board can become faulty.Three blink indicate the power supply have some problem. First of all replace all the electrolytic capacitors in the power supply board. If filter capacitors in the power supply is bad then this problem can occur. ok
Right now, your TV is in " Protection Mode". A damaged part has occurred inside on one of the power supply boards. The red flashing light is a trouble code for a tech to trace the trouble circuit path.
If you have electronic experience with circuit boards, you can find a Service Manual for the TV on the internet for less than $20. This Service manual will have the schematics, red light codes, circuit diagram, and part number list you need to fix the board.
Generally these type of problem occurs due to atmosphere contains moisture content. Even if it happens in warm area i suspect fbt leakage. Since this is high voltage transformer it can be serviced by qualified technicians only. Red light flashes indicates the tv in protection mode to avoid severe damage due to some short circuit. I think it is helpful to you
The red light blibking 6 times indicates that the power supply board has a defective or damaged area. I know this because i had the same problem...bought a damaged tv for parts and replaced the power supply board as the tv would not turn on...wokrs like a charm now.
Hey habo, The red light you are referring to most likely is the power indicator light. On many newer TV's this light will appear red when the TV is off or in "standby" mode, and green when the TV is in operation. Please keep in mind that some TV models may use the power indicator light to notify owners of ay potential hardware problems as well, so you may wish to refer to your owner's manual documentation if you have been encountering any problems during TV operation. Hope this helps you out. Sincerely, Aaron Go Ahead. Use Us.
