The FN and F10 but it may be different on your machine just look for a monitor looking key coloured blue and combination of the two pressed similtaneously.

Locate the Fn (Function) key on your keyboard. It may be on the bottom left side with dark blue letters.

Locate the two "brightness" keys near the top of the keyboard. These will be in the "F" keys, possibly if F5 and F7. They should have little sun pictures or something similar to indicate brightness.
One of your keyboard keys should show you a picture of what looks like a light one for brighter and one for darker
my laptop is a acer so my keys are on the bottom left of my keyboard if you press the Fn key usually has blue writing on it and the key that looks like the brighter light ( Press them together )
To brighten the screen of your lattitude laptop you can press Fn key and up arrow key and to decrease the brightness you can press Fn and down arrow key.
when you press the keys did you press also the Fn key (usually sets beside the window key.)
it should be Fn + bright positive key. you need to press both...hold fn then tap the bright positve key.
or right click on desktop
go to properties (if you have an intel chipset or other VGA chipset) you will see a Tab with the title of your VGA (like Intel Graphic Media ....) click on the tab, from there look for a button in which you can change the graphics settings...it will give a a new window which you can change color, brightnes, gamma etc..
Go to Control Panel...to DISPLAY...and you should either find a adjustment there to brighten your screen. Or look On the "F-Series" keys or somewhere on your keyboard for a Brighten SUN or dark SUN, which you have to press the blue key along with that F series key to brighten or darken the laptop.
