Question about Apple Ipod Nano Second Gen. Green (4 GB) MA487LLA MP3 Player

Frozen ipod nano second gen.

I was listening to my ipod and I paused it to talk to someone. I let it be paused for so long that the screen went black (which is normal), but when I pressed the play button, it wouldn't turn on. I have tried the toggling of the hold button and the then pressing the center and menu button trick; but it didn't work. Did I break it? or is there some simple solution that I am missing?

This happened to me and I heard that what you do is press the menu button and the center button at the same time. So I tried this and it didn't work so now I'm worried =\

Dead Ipod

If your ipod won't turn on, this usually means it is dead. This happens when you think you turn it off, but it is really still on. The screen is black, but if you look closley, it may still be on. It uses all of the battery, and then when you go to turn it on, your sad because it won't, and you can't listen to your valuable music. I have had first hand experiance. This happened to me before, and I thought it was broke. I was listening to it when I arrived at my destination, and I thought I turned it off, and I put it in my pocket. Later that day when I went to listen to it, it wouldn't turn on at all. My ipod was dead. For future ovoidance, put the hold switch on. To fix this:
1. Hold the pause button for five to ten seconds until the apple symbol appears on your ipod.
2. Immeadility put it in your docking station before it goes away.
3. Your ipod will turn on, and it will start charging.

I hope this helps.

I think your ipod is dead. This happened to me to. I was listening to it when I arrived at my destination, and I thought I turned it off and I put it in my pocket. Later that day when I went to listen to it, it wouldn't turn on at all. Aparently, it had stayed on. Hold the pause button for five to ten seconds. The apple symbol will appear on your ipod. Immeadility put it in your docking station before it goes away. Your ipod will turn on, and itwill start charging.

I hope this helps. Please rate my solution.
