The 1610 printer says ready on the screen..I give it a printer command and the printer turns on, a paper advaces half way into the feed and stops..No printer icon in the lower right hidden tool bar..Eventually, it spits out the paper with one line of "gobbley goop"!..When I make the printer test with the printer keyboard, it prints the test OK!..any idea what's wrong?..Jim

Hi there ok
Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.
First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.
If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

Make sure you inserting the paper not deep inside just insert and stop it when you feel any resistance .and try to print something. If it is print then well otherwise you have to show it service center. Have a nice day and do not forget to rate please...!
