My picture seems bowed. It is perfectly clear in the central portion of the screen but as you go out towards the edges, everything is blurry and the convergence is off. I have adjusted the green, blue and red convergence from the menu. It seems as if the picture is zoomed or way too big for the screen.

Ur convergence is dead,go to ebay.com buy the convergence repair kit.Find out ur make and models, and manufactures of ur TV buy it.
All big projection DLP have this prob. one time or other every manufactures,Sony,Samsung,RCA,many others.
Green really shouldn't be adjusted, you adjust red and blue to the green. When a color is bowed that indicates that a part or two are bad, probably the convergence output IC's and possibly a fuse or fusible resister. You may need a tech to come adjust it for you because after replacing IC's the adjustments should be done in the servicers menus not just in the consumers menus.
I just replaced the 2 convergance chips, but it did not seem to fix the problem. I then tested all the resistors that feed the convergence chips anf there was a 2.2 ohm fusable blown. IT was R7050 on mine. That seemed to fix it so that I could adjust all the colors through the convergence 2 screen. There seems to be a slight bow near the bottom when you look at the c2 screen, but not noticable when you are watching a picture. Since I got this broken, I am not sure how perfect it should be.
If anyone can send me the service manual, I would appretiate it. Thanks.
