When the engine is switched off and the AC blower is on, the vibration felt on the steering wheel is very high. The car is only one month old. Is the issue related to imbalance of blower fan or basic vibration of the blower motor or the resonance of the steering wheel due to natural frequency of the wheel aligns with the peak vibration of the blower motor?
AS IN MY PROBLEM CHECK THE FAN, AFTER THE RELAY/FUSE IS REMOVED, OR BETTER YET D/C THE BATTERY CAUSE CERTAIN FANS CAN TURN ON AT ANY TIME. CHECK THE BLADES ON THE RADIATOR FAN, WHICH COMES ON WITH THE BLOWER IF YOU ARE SET TO DEFROST BECAUSE THE A/C AUTOMATICALLY TURNS ON. IF YOU CAN GET TO THE BLOWER MOTOR ALSO CHECK IT, ALTHOUGH IT IS UNLIKELY THAT SMALL FAN COULD CAUSE A STEERING WHEEL VIBRATION, I DONT FEEL IT HAS ENOUGH MASS, BUT I COULD BE WRONG. LOOK FOR MISSING OR CHIPPED FAN BLADES OR FOREIGN MATERIAL ON THE BLADES, SUCH AS A SCREW, NUT, OR CLIP THAT WAS USED IN ASSEMBLY OF THE VEHICLE. YOU MAY GET LUCKY. IF YOU FIND SOMETHING FOREIGN, REMOVE IT, BUT CHECK FOR CRACKS AND OTHER POSSIBLE DAMAGE BEFORE RETESTING
Replace blower motor and fan.
