If you are using Windows Xp, just connect the modem using USB/LAN it will be automatically detected & software for it will be installed. Then you can just set up a connection, put in your username & password, done.
If you are using Windows Vista / Windows 7, modem in LAN mode will be installed automatically like XP, but not in USB mode. Because there's no USB driver for UT300R2U (BSNL modem) in Vista. You need to find a ZTE Remote NDIS device driver, install it & then you can connect. Hope this will fix your problem.

Did u try installing the driver, if u have wat is the error messsage u get, if not try and tell me what u see.Also type cmd in either "search" or "run" under start. and type "ipconfig" in the black window and give me the results exactly as they appear as i can help you out with that much better.
