Question about HTC Touch HD Smartphone

HTC TOUCH HD charging problem

I have a 6 months old HTC TOUCH HD; 2 days ago I used intensively the WiFi connection while charging on AC power ; since then the phone won't charge completely even after 1 full night on AC power , the battery shows 33% ; the orange led is always on while connected on AC power;
soft reset, battery removal - nothing works
any ideas ?

Well hope so you didn't damaged the sensors! try this : use the phone until battery is empty and switches off. then put it on the charger for 4 hours. If no joy,try different battery to make sure that device is not damaged and get a new battery.

I have an HTC HD, from 2 days ago, when i connected it to power as normal for charge, the light on top of power botton turned on and never gets off after that?!!! it makes the battery flat so quick! what...

Hello :

It seems that the battery is dead [ can't be recharged anymore ] even if you see a light when you plug the charger in the outlet . I recommend you to replace the battery .

HTC Touch Pro 2 will not connect with Jaguar Bluetooth handsfree

The Touch Pro 2 has a non-Microsoft Bluetooth v2.1 stack and does mess about with some car kits, especially the built-in factory bluetooth. My car will connect but will not patch the sound through from the phone to the car! It's a pain...

I'm using htc touch hd since 4 months ago.i got a problem with the covarage.it's always cut the conservation when i'm driving or at the place that low coverage.i'm so fed up rite now.is it my pda problem...

I experienced the same problem. Only 2 days after purchasing my new HTC Touch HD handset, the battery went flat and could not be charged. The phone, the USB cable and charger were all functional. I had to return the phone to the retailer (TELSTRA SHOP - AUSTRALIA) who concluded that the battery was faulty, but I was told the entire phone had to be returned to HTC AUSTRALIA as the retailer would not replace the battery. I was told it might take several weeks for the problem to be resolved.

After a little negotiation, the retailer finally agreed to replace the entire phone. My new HTC Touch HD phone works well and I have had no further battery charging problems. You are not alone. Don't despair. It is just a faulty battery.

HTC Viva and WIFI Problem Connection

Hello, wifi is a sort of WLAN conection. you need a wireless router to be able to use wifi. there are two ways to connect to the internet on the touch viva. 1st way is by the sim card and that costs you a lot of money!!! the other way is by a wlan router, you can access to the internet as long as you want is you have a flatrate. My good tipp: switch off the gprs connection, it will only cost you a lot of money. you will still be able to make phone calls. Ilost about 60$ (i mean it!) by trying to access to the internet by gprs.

HTC Touch HD heating problem.....

dont forget you should be closing off the programs in the top right hand corner (pressing home or changing program doesnt close the program so make sure you are usually only running about 50%) and yes it is normally hot my friend and i both have one and we have already seen that both our hd's are quite hot on the back but not scorching... the bat should take up to 4 hrs most to charge off a wall and with regular txting and small (1-10 min calls) a couple of times a day and a little bti of web browsing the phone bat should last a day least.... (again make sure in setting wifi is off when not using and under settings/connections tab/com manager that this is all turned off (just to make sure)) especially remember that even closing the web browser in top right hand corner can leave 3g running so click on the 3g icon (depending on provider) on the top tab and disconnect it (also save u data usage)) atm im running for about 2 days off a charge at least and all i have done recently is reflashed my rom off the htc web site and whenever not suing the phone put it to sleep using the top power button (one press but im sure u all no).
