Internal screen cracked cant see on it want to replace screen

I had a simillar problem recently , whilst climbing a five bar gate my foot slipped and I fell off , right onto my new Nokia 95 cruching the lcd into many fragments . ouch !!
However I searched online and found a replacement for £45 and that hurt almost as much as the fall ..lol
But I continued to look and found one for £16 incl postage , it was shipped to me and I got it four days later .. The replacement was easy . I gently removed the 4 ( miniture torque ) screws in the back and used my fingernail to slide around the case and part it
the screen was fixed in by four corner clips and the connection was by a small ribbon that required you relaese a catch on the ribbon plug to remove it it just lifted and swung over . I replaced the screen and fastened it all back up it took me approx 20 minutes and my phone is fine again .. I cant think that your phone would be much more than this to repair , so providing you have reasonable eyesight and the correct tools ( some come with the new screen ) I shouldnt think you would have much trouble ... I found it useful to work on a large piece of white paper as some of the screws are realy small and can be found easier ... Regards Vortash
