Refil Lexmark Z845 cartridge

Is there a chip reseter or way to disable the Lexmark Z845 from destroying the chips so they can be refilled? Thanks, Andrea

I've noticed that the Z845 lists two cartridges for black and colour on various suppliers lists
No 28 and No 32 for black
and No 29 and 33 colour
Does anyone know if these are interchangeable?

Please note that Lexmark does not recommend the use of refilled, re-manufactured or clone cartridges. You might not get the print quality you expect from the ink that is specially formulated by Lexmark.

Lexmark p4350 not recognising colour cartridge

Have you purchased like for like. Some, there is a chip that has to be reset if cartidge is a refil?

If still available reinsert old used cartidge and see if you receive same message or just the empty/renew.

Happens with HP too.

Often they have a chip mounted on the cartridge which monitors usage and when it determines that there is no ink remaining, it will disable the printer. Some companies sell compatible cartridges and reset the chip counter. But unless you reset the chip, even tho the cartridge is full of ink, the chip still disables the printer.

Hi there I bought some ink to refil my ink cartriges for my Lexmark s405 but the printer does not recognize the cartrges as full after I fill them how do I get around this? Thanks!

Most modern print cartridges are equipped with a page count chip that will disable the cartidge after a certain amount of prints.

Just refilling the cartridge will not solve the problem.

I would sugest not using refill cartridges

Yes you understand, it is problem Toner chip.When finished your toner then it chip has been disable.It is a technical policy.If you can refill it and again use.You must be reset the chip.Help www.chip resetter.com

Refil a lexmark #37 color cartridge

just place tape (2) on the bottom the outside points
ONLY THE ONE OUTSIDE..... BOTH SIDES

Then....

Drill right hole in top, place tape back over refill hole ...........

There You Have it..........!!!

How to refil a epson cartridge

Hi there

It depends on the cartridge - the genuine Epson cartridges and the various clones are not all constructed in the same way. Do a google search on "epson c67 cartridge refill instructions" and review the various recommendations - you will soon see which best applies to your cartridges. Note, however, that the chip restter manufacturers do not guarantee to work with all clone cartridges.

Using refill cartridges

That is because they cannot e refilled. The ones you get with your printer ( 28 & 29) are what Lexmark calls "return program cartridges", which means they are for one use only.
I suggest you buy other cartridges that can be refilled. Those are either 28A or 34 (black cartridge) and 29A or 35 (color cartridge).

Printer refills

Some refills won't work on some printers, because the printer actually reads a chip on the print cartridge, a good refil will have been reset, if you did it yourself, or if the company you bought it from did apply the chip reset device on it, the printer will never allow you to use it, thanks HP for the wonderful idea grrr. Be careful with refills anyhow, because some printers use easy clogging ink and refills can be dangerous.

Lexmark z845 resetting or refilling?

Give up. I have searched too. Cheaper to start again and find a printer that takes refillable cartridges. Unlike you I did not check before buying the Z845 at half price £24.50 in Tesco, knowing the cartridges within would cost almost the same. Previous printer I could refill the cartridge for 40pence!
