Check the caps on the power supply/inverter board first to see if it has any one of them with bulging/leaking tops or bad bottom seals.
See my pictures here (the caps in questions have my red marker on them).

To have it repair will not be worth it, you can DIY repir if you have all the needed tools and know how to solder.

Looking for windows 7 driver for SDM-HS95P monitor tq

(If this does not explain enough for your issue, please take a few minutes to clarify the specific problem regarding this specific monitor style and Windows 7).

Being that this is an older style monitor, drivers may not be available for a newer operating system, (such as Windows 7). Here is the link to the sony drivers download page:

http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=SDMHS95P

The newest supported operating system is Windows XP.
The generic monitor driver for windows 7 should pick up this monitor without any need for specific driver installation. Just try plugging it in and it should register automatically.

Sony LCD flat screen monitor

t certainly seems like the monitor is not getting a signal. Did this happen after you changed something, or just on normal boot up?
It could be the video card that has failed.
Also, check the pins on the connector; sometimes they can get pushed in.
If you can, try swapping out the video card or use the monitor on another computer.
Good luck,

Pop up menu won't go away.

If you can do the factory reset in the pop up menu, try it. You might have to try with another power supply, cord, or computer and check where the problem is.
