One of the useful features of Craigslist is that they allow you to upload up to eight digital photos to most classified ads for free.
Conveniently, they also allow the use of HTML code in the ad descriptions, which makes it possible for you to include an unlimited amount of photos hosted on external sites.
If you use the built-in upload tool, Craigslist will automatically resize the images for you.
If you host them on an external site, you will need to resize them yourself.
Follow the prompts and enter in a title and description for your ad.
Click the "Add images" link when prompted if you want to upload some images with Craigslist's built-in uploading tool.
These will be automatically resized for you.
Continue reading if you want to add and resize your own images.
Go to your image host, such as Photobucket, ImageShack or Flickr, in a new browser window or tab and open the album containing the images you'd like to use.
Click or right-click on the images one at a time and choose the option (if necessary) to view the direct Web addresses for them.
This address is what you'll link to in the Craigslist ad. Type the following HTML code into the ad's Description box (a few lines below the text description you already typed in):
<img src="" height="" width="" />
Inside the "src" quotes, copy and paste the Web address for the first image you'd like to add to your ad.
Inside the "height" and "width" quotes, type in the height and width (in pixels) you'd like to resize it to.
For example:
<img src="http://www.site/image.jpg" height="200" width="300" />
Repeat the previous step for any additional images you'd like to add to your Craigslist ad.
When done, follow the prompts on the page to save and post your Craigslist ad. http://www.craigslist.org/about/help/faq - pictures

1. go to craigslist.org
2. click on the region you would like to post your ad
3. click on motorcycles (in the For Sale) section
4. click on Post in the upper right hand corner
the rest is just following the on screen instructions. You'll have to register an account first though.
In your email program, save the photos to your desktop. If you're using Outlook..right-click on photo and choose Save As and save to desktop. If you use webmail or other email program, use the save/download image command and save them to your desktop.
Go to Craig's List and when you post your ad you'll see a button for Add/Edit images at the bottom. Click on the button, navigate to your desktop and choose the image(s) you want to add.
First you have to save the pictures to your computer, by connecting the camera and uploading the files. Make a note of where the files are saved when you do so, so you can easily find them again. If you wish, you can create a new folder when you save them so they are all in a single directory.
Then just go to Craig's list to post your ad. In the body of the ad there is a place to add images. Click on that and you'll see a browse button. Choose browse and you'll see a list of folders on your computer. Navigate to the folder where you saved your picture and choose the file name of the photo you wish to upload to Craig's list. Once it is selected, choose ok and away it goes. (You won't be able to see thumbnails or views of the photos when you browse, so look at them ahead of time and make a note of the file name or number, so you can pick it from the list when you browse to it on Craig's list.)
That's all there is to it.
