No noise when it rings

These smartphones controls all sounds with the volume rocker, the only problem is that it controls only what is currently being use. Just go to any ringtone and tap it in order to play it. While it's playing, use the volume rocker up to raise the sound.

I dont know my sound is on voume 7 but if someone calls it doesnt ring or make the melody noise whenever i press a button it hasnt been doing that since the past 3 days

Try the following instructions, to personalize your Nokia E50!
Profiles
Warning: In the offline profile you cannot make or receive any calls, or use other features that require network
coverage. Calls still may be possible to the official emergency number programmed into your device. To make calls,
you must first activate the phone function by changing profiles. If the device has been locked, enter the lock code.

Select Menu > Tools > Profiles.
You can adjust and customize the ringing tones, alert tones, and other device tones for different events, environments, or caller
groups.
To customize a profile, scroll to the desired profile in the list, and select Options > Personalise.
Define the following settings:
• Ringing tone — Select a ringing tone from the list, or select Tone downloads to open a bookmark folder containing a list of
bookmarks for downloading tones using the browser. To listen to the selected tone, select Play. If you have two alternate
phone lines in use, you can specify a ringing tone for each line.
• Say caller's name — Activate the text-to-speech ringing tone feature. When someone from your contacts list calls you, the
device sounds a ringing tone that is a combination of the spoken name of the contact and the selected ringing tone.
• Ringing type — Select how you want the ringing tone to alert.
• Ringing volume — Select the volume level of the ringing tone.
• Message alert tone — Select a tone for received text messages.

i m not geeting download any ring tone in my phone ????????????????

did u try removing the battery and reinserting after 2 min..

and if already tried,

then try dialing from oter phones, or check the assign tone in ur phone contact from which ur testing to be assigned with some ring tone...

1. to set mp3 ring tones...

copy any mp3 file to phone ( via cable or bluetooth )
go to multimedia = go to mp3 = now play the song you want as tone,
when song is playing, select options, and select = set as ring tone

DONE and smile......

2. to set Default sound ring tones...

go to menu = my stuff = sounds =
browse the sound files when you like one , select options, and set as ring tone.....

Done and smile again... hope this helped...

1ST U FOMET UR MOBILE AND MMC AND THEN INSTALL MP3 SOFTWARE.

hi, before applying tone, play it & listen, if it plays sound. Resent ur mobiles master setting & apply now. bye

You could concievably send them a mutimedia message when they call, but there is no way to automate this, and it would probably be too much trouble and expense to bother. Wait a year or two, and it may well be that manufacturers start including this feature - it would require a slight modification of the communications protocols on the cell networks, but it probably would be popular.
