Jvc xlmv33 three tray karaoke cdg player

Hi

My player will not play cd, each time I load cd's and push a track number or the select button it just goes from one tray to another It makes the sound like the trays are taking the cd's in and out but will not play the track I selected. I have looked for a repair location in Iowa but have been unable to find one. Any suggestions please

I took it to a repair shop, found out it would be very hard to fix due to age. could not get parts for it, so I will just get a new one.

Your reader is probably going bad. You can try cleaning it with one of those home CD player cleaner kits and that might work for you.

American idol karaoke machine has stuck drawer. There is no manual release hole to put a paper clip into. CDG trapped plays..

Take out the cd mech, look underneath for a wheel at the front which shoud have a small belt on, turn this with your finger til the disc becomes unclamped and the tray opens

I have a JVC XL-MV303 Karaoke CD player. The player does not advance while playing tracks. Plays only one track at a time. I suspect I have accidentally set this capability. Just want to know how to turn...

There is a little slide switch under the main power button on the upper
left hand corner - switch it from karaoke mode to normal mode.

CD playing erratic

Run a "Laser Lens Cleaner" thru the unit a couple times. Use one that takes fluid, you can find them at just about any retail store for 15-20. If that doesn't solve it, it needs to be repaired. At that point weigh the cost over replacement. A new transport usually will cost 100-150 on average for parts and labor. Hope this helps

Cd does not play when inserted. We cleaned the lens with a lens cleaner.

The optical lens assembly is damaged at this point. the lens has burned out and the tracking/load motor seems to be faulty as well. replace the optical lens asap.

Purchased JM258 Karaoke machine and led displays E when trying to play CD

The lid of the CD player was loose resulting in the CD not being able to play. If I hold the lid closed or place a book on it it will play. Needless to say, I will be exchanging it for one that works properly.
