I have been getting a error code f 21 on my washer. How to i fix it?

Take the front lower cover off and there is a tech sheet in there look at it and it will tell ya what the code is for and how to correct it I cant remember this code off the top of my head and all the brands have different codes.I have about 5 three ring binders of tech sheets in my van if you cant find it i will look it up for you once you find this sheet clear the code and run it through diag.mode the sheet will tell you how to put in in self or automatic try auto. good luck

The following list of codes indicates an electronics communication problem with the washer: - Duet HT washer - F01, F03, F06, F11, F23, F24, F27, F28, F29, F30, F31, F32, F35, F42, F61, F62, F63, F64, F65, F70, F71, and F99

If Pause/Cancel does not work:
  1. Unplug washer or disconnect power for one minute.
  2. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
  3. Re-select the cycle and press Start.
NOTE: If the error remains on the display, call for service.

I would first replace the door latch/lock assembly, a number of users have and it fixed the F-11 error code completely. Its the cheapest part for this problem.

Hello,

This means that the drain pump is clogged. Tip the machine back and remove the three screws on the bottom panel. The pump has a filter inside. Pull the filter out and clean it, it will fix the issue for sure!

Whirlpool duet sport front load washer
the panel below the door has 3 screws under the bottom lip of the panel. remove the screws to get the panel off youll see the pump right in front of you. you can unscrew the cap on the pump and remove it to clean out the punp. thats where 99% of clogges are on that washer
