SOURCE: hello i have a samsung

if the pump is clean and the motor works,it could be a blockage in the outlet pipe or the impeler in the pump is damaged, make sure there is some water in the machine, take the end of the oulet pipe and hold it over a bowl of some description if theres no blockage water should cone out of the pipe.if do not then its blocked,if it does then the pump is probably damaged.

SOURCE: LInt filter

Find you owners manual, it should say how to clean the button trap on your pump

Unplug the machine FIRST!

Get some towels, you will have water coming out.

if the tub is full of water you will need to bale it out!

Remove the lower front panel, usually two screws,

look for the pump it will have hoses on it. now lay some towels around, expect water.

Unscrew the end of the pump, if it has a button trap or lint filter.
it will be on or near the pump refer to your owners manual

If you dont have an owners manual you may find it at Samsung.com?

SOURCE: My Samsung WF218ANW/XAA front load washer will not

lefever352, I am currently trying to solve this same issue on the identical model. I removed , cleaned, and re-assembled all the water tubes and the entire pump assembly. The pump works but for some reason it is not priming into the drain tube. The pump assembly appears to have a diaphram over the outlet opening and it it looks like this might be the problem. I am still hunting the solution, BUT so far the above actions have to resolve our issue. I hope perhaps Fixya can help.

Why does it not drain?

It "should drain automatically. If yours does not, please make sure the washer is properly leveled both front to back and side to side, make sure the drain hose is not inserted too far into the drain pipe and that there are no bends or kinks in the drain hose that might cause a blockage. Samsung also recommends cleaning the debris filter on a regular basis (at least once per month). To avoid spillage when cleaning the debris filter, it's important to first empty the rubber drain tube located next to the debris filter into a container. For more information, please refer to the User Manual."

Where is the debris filter on a Samsung WF316las/xaa?

There is no more filters to be cleaned on front load machines. It's a self cleaning filter and everything goes through the drain.

Wont drain

Hi,
Following will be the causes
There is a motor/Pump which operates to to drain the water check whether that motor is working.
Check filter and clean it
Check the drain pipeline whether it clear
Check the inlet valve of the machine Sometimes the drain works properly but the inlet solenoid valve will not hold and the water keeps coming in and fills the drum

Thank You

4E showing on Samsung Washing Machine

When error message 4E is displayed, you should clean the water hose mesh filter. To do this:

1. Turn off the water source to the washing machine.
2. Unscrew the hose from the back of the washing machine.
3. With a pair of pliers, gently pull out the mesh filter from the end of the hose and rinse it under water until clean. Also clean the inside and outside of the threaded connector.
4. Push the filter back into place.
5. Screw the hose back onto the washing machine.

Samsung WF337AAL/XAA washer- washing mashine with noise reduction but when it spins we hear a lot of noise and the unit moves. What can we do?

I have had mine for 6 months. I noticed that they must be on a flat smooth surface. If the surface is not level you will have that problem.
