We had that problem but the unit was built in and I could not get at it, the outlet pipe sounds like it is blocked, I cleared mine by connecting a pipe from the cold tap to the outlet pipe and flushing.

The bath water won't pump out. Seems like there's too much water left in the Saniplus itself to allow the bath inlet valve to open. Can this be adjusted? The toilet and wash basin are working OK.

This is a bit of a puzzle, if theres water in the Suniplus then the float valve will operate and the water will pumped out as it does for the toilet and wash basin.
I can only think that the bath discharge none return valve is stuck and needs removing and cleaning.

Hope that solves the problem.

Saniplus has bath water going into it as well as toilet water. Why does it take at least two flushes before the bath water all goes?

The Saniplus works on a float switch which is a rubber membrane in the pressure chamber (where electrical components are) water pressure pushes up in the membrane and the unit kicks on and pumps the waste out. Once the pressure releases, the membrane goes back down and shuts off. If the membrane is warped or solids are build up at the bottom, it will not allow it to kick on and off as it should. You might want to inspect that membrane and have it cleaned or replaced.

My neighbours saniflow toilet is drivng me mad. The motor keeps whirring every 5 mins. Whats the problem, please!

Water pressure is what makes the unit kick on and off. If its kicking on by itself most likely water is somehow draining back into the pump. Start by checking the flapper in the flush valve inside the toilet tank, it may be leaking water into the bowl and from the bowl into the pump. Also inspect the check valve inside the 90 degree elbow where the waste is pump out from. The check valve may not be closing properly and is allowing waste water to drain back into the pump creating water pressure making the unit kick on and off by itself.

Sanipro continuously runs, however, not pumping waste away and waste water has filled toilet bowl. Any suggestions

There can be a blockage somewhere in the discharge pipe, the blade or impeller. Also the short discharge pipe or long elbow inside the pump casing may be split open or not attached properly and waste water is just cycling inside the pump casing. Worst case scenario could be a bad capacitor, the capacitor spins the blade and impeller, it that goes bad the unit will just hum and not pump any waste out until is replaced. You can also order parts through Saniflo if needed.

I have a saniflow unit in a disabled toilet in a nightclub, which has recently started to fill almost to the top, with warm water and sewage, what could be the cause, and what are the solutions to this?

The first thing I would do is make sure float is free of debris and not rubbing on tank sides On most floats there is some adjustment for tank level to actuate the pump. I also would inspect and clean check valve to make sure you don't have anything stopping check valve to completly close. Thank you

Water won't drain from sink or shower and the system is whirring away.

there is a blockage in the saniflo pump or the saniflow outlet pipework

Saniflow pump keeps comming on without flushing toilet

Water pressure makes the unit kick on and off. If it's turning on by itself then most likely somehow water is draining back into the pump. It could be leaking water from the toilet tank, to the bowl and from the bowl to the pump. Or the check valve inside the discharge elbow may not be closing all the way down and is allowing waste water to drain back into the pump creating enough water pressure that makes the pump kick on and off. Inspect the flapper on the flush valve and the check valve on the discharge elbow on top of the macerating pump.

How can you tell if the waste pipe is blocked on a saniflow toile

Yes the bowl will be slow to empty. Try squeezing the white discharge hose as the unit operates, if there is a blockage then this hose will be hard to squeeze. If hose is soft then blockage could be in the toilet pan U-bend in which case fill bowl with very hot water and leave to soften the toilet paper.
