Text message failure, error message

LG KT 610 Unable to send texts. everytime we try to send one, message comes back as "send failed". when checking the details of the error , it says "memory full, close some applications and try again." No applications open. According to memory card stats, only 869kb in use, and 1914MB free. phone memory 8520 kb in use, 49MB free memory, 1kb calender, 26kb contacts,395kb messages, 0, images, sound files,video clips, and 180b documents.469kb MIDP apps,0b browser cache. What can we do?

I had the same problem. Start by upgrading the phone software. The technician told me that with LG phones you have to move as much as possible to the memory card. I don't understand too much about this, but am trying to do this and will see whether the same problem appears again. (I've moved my contacts and messages to the memory card.) So far it's okay.

You should set the message centre number to be able to send text msgs. You can call up customer care centre of your service provider to get this number or any further help.

or u just remove ur sim card and put it back and turn on the phone and thats it

Text messages
Hi, Hi-Tech people! I got a Motorola RAZR V3, my problem starts when everytime I press the keys to type a message...it HANGS. Once it HANGS, I can't type anymore and continue the message I suppose to write. It wont move no more. It just STUCK-UP right there on the last letter I'd pressed. I have to take-off the battery at the back to re-start the unit again. Then, start typing again...same thing happens. It just HANG by itself and I can't press other keys no more.
Any HELP?
