My polaroid 4GB MP4 player won't work and keeps saying disk error

So I tried deleting something and all of a sudden it changed the language to Korean. So I changed it back to English and then it said disk error. I tried shutting it off and turning it back on but it still won't work and keeps saying disk error. What do I do?

The hard disk drive in the player may have had something important deleted from the software system when you changed languages the company might need to work out the bugs so see if you can get a refund if this was recently bought

SOURCE: my polaroid 4gb mp3 player

Hi,

Try pressing the reset button on the back side of the case or if you can do that, with tool stake of the screw holding the case on and pull out the battery. If still the problem persist you have to check for socket soldering connections and to the screen to the board. If defective replace the socket card.

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thank you for using fixya have a nice day:-)

are you plugging it in to your computer or a usb hub? if one of those is what you are using and it doesn't work, then try the other. if neither of those work, I would suggest using the Polaroid support line: 1-877-768-8483. Mon-Thurs 9AM-5PM and Fri 9AM-3PM. (Eastern Standard Time)

Keep your mp4 player turned OFF while charging and keep it in for an hour. Let it charge up. If that doesn't work something else will - Follow these directions carefully!

1. GENTLY hold your Craig MP4 player in hand. 2. Walk over to window and hold it near sunlight for 2 minutes. 3. Shake it gently 3 times. 4. GENTLY place it down and wait 2 minutes. 5. Grab mp4 player and smash it into trash can.
