Question about Sharp Aquos LC-37HV6U 37 in. HD-Ready LCD Television
My wife and I recently went through a home renovation project lasting 3 months. During that time we took down our 3 1/2 year old Sharp LCD HDTV and stored it carefully in a closet facedown, away from the potential for damage due to bumps/bruises. This week we attempted to get the TV up and running again, only to find out that by leaving the TV facedown for an extended period of time we have somehow damaged the LCD screen (no picture). Extended warranty expired 6 months ago.
Is there anything that can be done? Why is there no mention of the potential for this type of damage in the owner's manual?
Not sure i laid over a lcd for a couple mintues. that belong to my comapny, once i stood it back up the screen was cracked. i like to have fell over, the replacement part is 12266.00 i guess your out of luck. as i am.
