Question about Kenwood KDC-MP228 CD Player

Kenwood KDC-MP228 When I increase the volume the CD Player looses all power (lights go out sound goes off) for sbout 5 seconds then it comes back and restarts the CD where it left off. If I leave the volume turned up it will shut off again immediately like a breaker is tripping then reseting. Phil

Sounds like you crossed wires. Civic or should say Hondas wiring is different from most cars color codes check the wires.

Hi, ensure amp has 12v on the "+" and "rem" terminals and has a good ground to the amp, This is all the amps needs to start up

I have my Kenwood CA-C2AX audio cable plugged into my Kenwood KDC-MP228 CD reciever. I switch it to AUX-EXT and I still dont get any sound.
you have to go into the radio menu and turn off the cd changer port, keep scrolling auntil you find the aux input turn it on
and the audio input will woork

Kenwood Stereos do not have 5 digit codes. They are only a 4 digit code.
