Dyson fan heater keeps shutting off

Shuts off, wont come back on.

If your AM04 fan heater runs for a few moments then shuts off, this is likely to be because the target temperature you've selected (shown on the LED display on the base of the machine) is lower than the ambient room temperature. The intelligent thermostat is engineered to ensure the machine will only run as needed to maintain the target temperature you've chosen.

Using the remote, or the controls on the base, to raise the target temperature by a few degrees should resolve the issue. I've included our Getting started guide below which shows how to adjust the temperature.

Thermosats normally do not control the fan in those assemblies. Just the burners. The Dan is controlled by a mechanical switch by the heat exchanger or on it. That switch can fail and keep fan running.

My dyson fan was serviced last winter by you as it was recalled now it does not work , the lights come on and the motor runs 2 seconds and dies

I'm sorry to hear you're concerned about your Dyson fan heater. However, this could be normal behavior from your machine, as the heater would usually display an error code if was an actual fault.

If the target temperature you've selected (shown on the LED display on the front of the machine) is equal to less than the ambient room temperature, the machine may run momentarily until the intelligent thermostat shuts it off.

The solution is to raise the target temperature, using either the remote or the controls on the base of the machine, until the heater runs. It's important to keep in mind that what you're selecting is the temperature you want the heater to heat the room to - so the machine won't run if the room is already at or above the target temperature.

My am05 shut off with a E 5 Display

If your Dyson AM05 Hot + Cool heater displays an E5 error code, you should be able to reset this without difficulty. Just turn off the machine using either the remote or the control on the base, then unplug it for at least 30 seconds. Once you've done this, plug it back in and re-test. The issue should be resolved.

My Dyson Bladeless Fan/Heater is displaying E7 after a few minutes of running and then shuts down? It is brand new (a couple of months old) and been run about 3 times.

It's normal for the fan to revert to monitoring mode once the target temperature you've selected (shown on the LED display on the base) has been reached. But the machine should automatically turn itself back on again once the temperature drops below the target.

Furnace fires up and heats to desired heat setting and burner shuts down , but the main blower continues to run on.
its the fan control AFC not shutting off , it comes on at temp rise say 150f drops back to 130f with fan on , burner shuts off fan runs untill temp falls to 100f the fan shuts off in this case it keeps running

The heater fan wont shut off when the key is
check blower resistor it could be shorting out. try unpluging that and see if blower stops. hope the helps good luck.

Whirlpool Dryer Question - Drum sometimes doesn't spin I have a Whirlpool Dryer model LBG6000KQ1 purchased in 2003. When I turn the timer on, I hear only the gas sound and the drum does not spin. Then I shut off the timer and then turn on the timer again and the gas comes on and the drum spins. The next time I use the dryer, I turn it on the timer and I hear only the gas turn on the the drum won't spin again. I heard a one-time thump sound. I turned off the dryer timer, then turned it on again and it worked fine the gas came on and the drum spinned . Question: What is causing the thump sound and why won't the dryer drum spin ? P.S. I purchased the dryer in 2003 and I changed the drum belt 5 years ago. Thanks for your help and blessings !!!
