Using your browser login into you router and go to the wireless section. There you can set or change the password. You can also use the set-up wizard to do this set-up.
default login/pass is
admin/admin
if that doesn't work
you will need to reset your router to default settings by holding the reset button for 30 seconds.
login and reconfigure your router.
Generally all the Wireless Adapter that are B/G/N Wireless Standard compatible and avaliable in the market will work with your Wireless Router, depends if you want to go with a PCI adapter or a USB adapter.
You can access your router with following link http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 type user name as "admin" and password as "admin" or blank or "password"
When you go to your routner and put in username and password, the boxes that are a "lot of stuff" has a tab on the top HOME being one of them, and a tab down the side WIRELESS being one of them. When you click on WIRELESS, you should see a screen that has a box marked Enabled or Disabled. Check ENABLED. Give your SSID a descriptive name like Eagleye and (optionally) turn on WEP. I tend to give all of mine 1011121314 as the 64 bit encryption so I never forget it.
Save your settings and your SSID name should show up on wireless devices. If it doesn't, then click on ADVANCED and PERFORMANCE tabs and make sure the SSID is enabled. Keep in mind that you can also DISABLE SSID and set up all your wireless devices by keying the SSID the same as the one you gave it. Then you don't have to use WEP and it will improve your wirless performance.
Here's a link to the 514 manual if you need to ask other questions. This is for a rev C, but you can step back into the website for an A or B model. Most notably, check out the WEP and SSID FAQ tabs.
