Question about Integra DTR-8.3 Receiver

No output to subwoofer per-amp

I have Integra DTR 8.2 receiver. I tried to connect it to 7.1 speaker system. They all work fine except the subwoofer. It seems that there is no output from the subwoofer pre-amp connection. I was able to connect the subwoofer with a different pre-amp I have and it is working fine.
I obviously enables the sub-woofer at the receiver setup screen. I set all the speakers to small size so low frequency below 80Hz will switched to the sub. Yet nothing.

    Thanks for your comment. As I said "I obviously enables the sub-woofer at the receiver setup screen" I also tried to reset/reboot the receiver (pressing video1 + standby power). Indeed, it rebooted and cleared all the configuration. So after reconfiguring, it still doesn't work.

    no output from my sub-woofer. all the other speakers work fine. and I don't have a remote for it

    well how do you enable the sub without the remote if possible

You may have to go into the onscreen menu and enable it,that shuld work

    i think its under the zone 2 out put.sometimes those jacks double for tw things

Bose acoustimas speaker output jacks not working
try to trace your problem inside the main circuitry of the jacks ( open it and see on the solder side of the Printed circuit board(where all the electronic components and soldered/welded if there are loose connections (small cracks... use magnifying glass if you have one) then solder them.
also check for the transistor amplifiers and output capacitors....
check also for the connectivity of all wirings!

You most likely have a power amp problem, disconnect all speakers and see if still does the clicking, if so you have an output amp problem

HELP! Surround speakers not working with 5.1 material.
This may sound silly, but . have you checked your sytem setup settings to make sure it is set to 5.1 ,if so then you may very well have a bad channel

I have the following equipment and am going crazy trying to figure out how they get connected together. I also have the Carver Multi CD player and Carver Cassette Deck which I was able to connect to the...
Get a separate amp for the 901's and the rest falls into place.

1,2, 5) Place the 901 Active EQ between the pre/main front OUT of the receiver and the TFM-55X. Attach the 901's. Keep track of the jumpers you remove from the receiver. Or replace the jumpers with RCA splitter cables so you still have pre/main connection but can share the output with the TFM.

3) Pinnacle subwoofer (self-powered?) to the subwoofer out of the receiver.

4) Bose (AMS???) 5. As surrounds on the receiver. Place the sub module toward the rear so it mates sonically and directionally with them.

What? No center speaker? I'd get something more robust with bass capabilities, like a pair Bose 301 series 1's because the tweeters face in one direction only.

Except for the amps and the cube stuff that is essentially what I have. 6.1 with full-range speakers everywhere.

I have an integra dtr 7.7 receiver which when turned on outputs a huge hum through the speakers (it fried my 8 inch drivers) even with the volume on 0 the hum is there and it ruined my speakers after about...
obviously a short somewhere in the system....

you know what i would do?
pray to god you are still under warranty! XD
its a beautiful machine....

My left rear speaker has no sound. All others work. I have tested the speaker on a different reciever and it works fine. My reciever is a integra DTR 5.5
Swap your left and right rear speaker over. If you still get no sound from the right speaker connected to the left speaker connection on the receiver, then you have a fault on the receiver output. Check your manual first to see if any setting switch off the rear speaker before taking the unit for repair or replace

Low to no volume output from Integra DTR-5.2 receiver
most higher end integra's have a input level adjusment or input selection for each and every input. Perhaps you are not on the correct input, go to onscreen programming and check out the input level and input select - also try the tape in another input like tape 2 or cd. It will not hurt the receiver for a test. Also, if you are using the cheap cables from the manufacturer - try a pair of cables that you know work or go by some. BTW, you don't need to spend $40 for cables order them online through amazon or other store. Gold / sliver plated oxygen free are best.

My Integra DTR 5.6 appears to have been damaged during a thunderstorm. Lightning struck a tree in the yard next to ours and now I get no sound from the unit. It powers on and everything seems to work other than sound. I even tried unplugging it for a long period of time thinking it might reset everything. No luck. Any ideas? Thanks
